My Telus T.V., Phone, internet was cancelled on Sept.18th because I was moving to B.C. They told me there would be a cancelation fee of $450.00,Which was fine. When I got out here I received a bill of $450.00, which included the rest of what I owed on my bill. A week later I got a bill for $800.00 So I tried getting a hold of someone to talk to, which took me forever. Finally I got a hold of someone and they told me that with all the disconnection fees and with my last bill that it did come to $800.00 and some. Which is a crock of do do. I will never go to telus again. !!!!!

got a pager ... / ....is it defective ....? ....well .... "surprise" ... the "dealer network" as its sometimes called no longer keeps any stock of pagers ... they are "supposed" to according to Telus. I cannot go anywhere in BC to get a replacement in person . The lady at Telus told me that while the dealers are ``supposed`` to carry replacement rental stock ...and if they dont ...and they should .. mind you .. Telus will gladly "mail" me a replacement pager and include a return envelope for my convenience.
We have all known for some time now that Telus has `zero`face to face contact with any of its customers. I believe their dealers are probably in lockstep with the service aspect of their products.
Funny ,isnt it , they had it all and bit by bit, they`re throwing it all away.

The fools at Telus tells me that I owe money even though I pajd off the cancellation bill. I told those idiots that I have bank records PROVING that I paid for it. They are trying to ask me for my banking information. Like I would give any banking information way. DOUCHEBAGS!

Well I got the best Telus Mobility story of them all. My husband signed up for a 3 year contract with Telus in December 07. This was just before Xmas. Right after Xmas he changed his mind and decided to cancel the contract. The contract stipulated he could cancel within the first 30 days. He went to return it on the 19th day. He tried to return the phone to the same Telus store and he was told that "they don't take back cell phones". He was then told he had to "mail" to Head Office. My husband wrote Telus, sent it registered requesting where EXACTLY to send the phone to. He NEVER got a reply. Now, bear in mind, NOT one minute of air time was used on this phone. In March, ( 3 months later) He gets a bill in the mail, well we THINK its a bill - there is No Amount (past due) BUT it does state that if payment is not received ... (that's funny) that his Services will get cut off and his account will be sent to a collection agency !!! Again, he sent them ANOTHER registered letter.. did not hear a word, In June 08, he received a letter from a collection agency telling him he owes a whapping $975.00 !!!!!
no details, no explanation NOTHING. Well, to make a very long story short. The bill today is up to $1700.00 my husband is STILL in possession of the cell phone in the original box (with not one second of air time used)my husband lodged a complaint with the Feds under PIPEDA for not complying with the law to provide my husband with all correspondance/telephone call recordings/ etc etc documents in possession of Telus and the collection agencies. And here is the "kicker" ... he just pulled his credit report in March 2010 and guess what ?.. the debt is listed with a PAYMENT made in Aug 2010 for $5.28! He never paid a dime on this account as he first wanted to simply return a phone and cancel the contract (which he had the legal right to do) then attempted to get the $975.00 validated as to what those charges were for (never got an answer) Now are investigating why they could not provide my husband with copies of what he requested... The outcome will certainly be interesting. I will keep you posted on the results.

By ALL means, a word of advice - if you dispute any fees at any time - MAKE SURE YOU DO IT IN WRITING ! - the old saying "if its not written down, it never happened" is what these companies bank on
